Your Frequently Asked Chatbot Questions Answered

At MEsquad, we understand that shopping for kids' glasses can sometimes raise a few questions. We've compiled a list of the most common queries we receive in our chatbox and provided clear and concise answers to ensure your shopping experience is as smooth as possible.

1. When Can I Expect My Order?

For glasses that require prescription lenses, blue-light blocking, or sun lenses, our process typically takes around 7-10 business days for our lab to process your lenses. Once that's complete, our optician verifies that the prescription is correct, usually taking about 1 day. Afterward, regular shipping times apply. For parts, accessories, or frame-only orders, we ship within 48 hours.

2. Do You Ship to the US?

Absolutely! We're delighted to serve customers in the United States. Plus, all our promotions and offers are extended worldwide, so everyone can enjoy the benefits of MEsquad.

3. What Do I Need to Place an Order?

To place an order with us, you'll need three essential pieces of information:

  • Prescription: Ensure you have your child's up-to-date prescription from their optometrist.
  • Frame Selection: Choose the frame that best suits your child's style and comfort.
  • Pupil Distance (PD): This measurement helps ensure the lenses are centered adequately over your child's eyes. You can measure this yourself or ask your optometrist to provide it.  You can read more about how to measure your PD here. There are also a lot of great apps that you can use to get this measurement.

4. My Child Is 12, and There Doesn't Seem to Be Anything for Him.

We understand that kids come in all shapes and sizes, and age ranges can be a guideline. When selecting glasses for your child, don't solely base your decision on the lens size (e.g., 44). Instead, focus on the length of the frame from hinge to hinge in millimeters. You can measure this using your child's old stand and compare it to our selection. If it's your child's first pair of glasses, use our virtual-try-on tool to see how they'll look before making a purchase.

5. What Kind of Lenses Do You Offer?

At MEsquad, we exclusively sell single-vision lenses. Unfortunately, we do not offer prism or bifocals. However, our lenses are shatter-proof, have an anti-glare coating, and are scratch-resistant to ensure your child's safety and comfort.

6. Do You Have Glasses with Removable Arms for a Stretchy Band?

We do not offer glasses with removable arms that can be replaced with stretchy bands. However, our straps attach to the ends of the arms to help keep the glasses secure and comfortable.

7. Shipping Cost for Small Items

We will always reimburse shipping charges if you're purchasing small items like hinges online. Rest assured that we value your business and will notify you via email regarding any shipping cost refunds.

At MEsquad, we're dedicated to making your shopping experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, our customer support team is here to help. Your child's vision is our priority, and we look forward to serving you with top-quality, nearly indestructible kids' glasses.
