Pinhole Camera Kids Experiment

Looking for a fun Snow Day activity to do with your children? Check out this Pinhole Camera experiment, limited supplies required and guaranteed fun! 💡

How is a pinhole camera similar to your eyes?

Light passes through both pinhole cameras and human eyes to project an upside-down image. In a pinhole camera, light passes through the pinhole to project an upside-down image onto the back of the box, and in the human eye, light passes through the lens to project an upside-down image on the back of the retina. The brain then flips that image so that we experience it with the right side up. Pretty cool huh?
